Evening all, trying to get into the reading habit again but finding it hard to find authors I like. Recently read a couple of Robert Wilson (Small Death in Lisbon & Instruments of Darkness) and really enjoyed. Can anyone suggest anything along the lines of Robert Wilson?

    Thanks.

    Detective Fiction:
-New York Trilogy by Paul Auster
    -Watchmen by Alan Moore

    Historical Fiction:
    -Ragtime by E.L. Doctrow
    -Foe by J.M. Coetzee

    Hope you enjoy these.

I second the Paul Auster suggestion — New York Trilogy is seriously amazing stuff.
