Airlines booking question

    I tried booking flights on the delta website last night but right at the end i got a message sayin to ring them quoting a code to finish the booking. I did this today and was told by the first rep that there was probably a problem with my card,but i checked that and all was so fine. So i phoned back again and get another rep who tells me that he can confirm everything for me and asks for my billing address again.I then get sent an itinerary and am told il get an email next week about tickets. But im not sure if the booking is actually confirmed yet. Surely they should have still had my address so im thinking there still may be a problem with the card- does anyone know if its only only confirmed when you get the etickets or does the itinerary count as confirmation also. Sorry for the long ramble:o
