Audio Device Driver accidently deleted

    a friend of mine accidently deleted his audio device driver and the backup file too appaently.

    been trying to find to find one online but to no avail but only through googling to be honest so hoping someone will be able to point me in the right direction.

    Go onto the website of the computer manufacturer and look for drivers for the sounds card for that model, some common ones are:
    Realtek AC'97
    Realtek HD Audio
    SoundMAX
    Creative
    Sigmatel
    etc...

    Its likely to be one of those listed,
