    Hi

I have the Sky basic package with 4 packs with no premium channels and so have been paying €26.50 per month.

This month my direct debit was €25.60. I don't see this on their website. Have prices reduced? maybe because of sterling difference?

BTW, I do notice on their website that from 7 march, they will be charging an extra 75c for paying bills by continuous credit card.

    Thanks for help

The UK VAT rate drop (from 17.5% to 15%)? There's a thread on here from some time back, I think.

Since maximus02 has explained to me that he believes his most recent reduction is on top of the UK VAT rate reduction, I have re-opened this thread.

    Thanks Byte.

As I explained to Byte, my Sky subscription did reduce in January from €27.00 to €26.50 which I assume was due to the VAT change as mentioned in another thread.

However this month it has reduced further to €25.60. I just wonder have others noticed this?

I think it still relates to UK VAT reduction. The VAT reduction i believe came in in Dec 1st. As sky charge in advance and the fact it took sky a few weeks to implement the reduction on there systems, this months sub includes the refund of VAT charged before the reduction was implemented in Sky.
