property in bulgaria

    hi,

    i've just found out that my husband bought an apartment in bulgaria 6 months ago using money from our joint account without my knowledge or consent :mad:. not happy!! the contract is in his name only. has anyone any idea if i should have signed something or if what he has done is legal?

    Oh that is terrible. I dont suppose you require both your signatories to withdraw money from your joint account? If the bank did not comply with the account mandate that would be one thing you could look into. If not, its a matter between you and him. and the agreement that you have between you as to your money. If were you I would consider seeking legal advice, not from this forum.

    no. either account holder can withdraw without co-signing. thanks anyway but have a feeling i'll have to chalk this one down to experience..:(
