I use mapmyride You can use it to plan your own training route or to search for routes that others have uploaded.

There are lots of small quiet roads in the area between N/M4 and N3.

I was out around Westmanstown, Leixlip, Maynooth, Kilcock last Saturday and had a very pleasant 55km ride.

    Hi.
From Lucan head North over the bridge, then take the back roads behind Leixlip and Intel.
Head all the way to Maynooth/Kilcock around Carton House.
From Maynooth to Rathcoffey and Clane is also a nice cycle. Also DOnadea Forest.
Finally a handy loop is Leixlip -Celbridge - Straffan - Clane - Rathcoffey - Maynooth - Leixlip.

    Enjoy
