Attic conversion incl roof change to Dutch Hipped roof

Hi, We are planning to convert our attic and we also need to change the existing hip roof profile to a Dutch Hipped roof. Can any of you who has gone thru this kind of conversion let us know how it went and whether you were happy with your contractor? Thanks,

i presume when you say dutch hip you mean 1/3 or 1/2 hip ?
