How good are each of these or a combination for getting into really good shape?Im taking 6 pack shape here and of course with a proper diet? would one need to keep up their own weightraining workouts or is there an element of resistance training in the training?lastly what would you recommend with regards these martials arts in waterford city?

I think they're all very good for general "fitness" training but if you want to get ripped like someone off the tv you'll to probably do a lot more.

What's your weight / height at the moment? Muay thai's great for getting lean (i.e. into 6 pack territory) and BJJ's gonna be good for strength. Combine it with a decent diet and I'd say you have the makings of a good exercise regime for someone looking to get into shape.

Waterford Muay Thai is a great place, and will certainly help you lose weight and get in shape. Likewise, the guys at Waterford MMA are a bunch of a good lads and will also work you hard and get you in good shape. I've trained with the Judo club too, also another great way to work out.

Any of the above mentioned by WMT are all valid options.. It all depends on what you want to do.

If your interested in all them then MMA sounds like it might be for you, the art is not what gets you in shape, its a combo of diet and exercise..

do the art to learn the art or skills, eat right to get lean!
