Well, I really wonder if this guy is for real of not.
He managed to penetrate Nasa computers, yeah ok.

But he admitted how he got caught

"Forget about time zone difference with the US, and he moved a mouse cursor remotely during business hours - He had remote access to a windows machine".

"He used his and her girfriend real day to day email to download remote access products to remotely control Nasa computers"

He did this from home, pretty surely used his own IP too

Seen a video of him last year, a hacker conf, where he admited he got caught for silly things. Yeah I bet...

So what, the greatest British hacker ever? Yeah let me laugh...

    Just my 2 cents

Between 1999/2002, alot of u.s government computers had been broken into on a regular basis.

Marc Maiffret / Eeye became famous for "hacking" into a pentagon computer ..using a blank password? it was something like this anyway, something anyone could have done.

Many others "hacked" into gov departments also, and it was usually due to blank administrator passwords or poor configurations..thats all really.

So i believe him when he says "there were others" in/out of the computers all the time, since around these years there were loads of defaced websites, belonging to government.

Gary was just careless using VNC software and leaving childish threats for the staff to read.

I think Gary is been used a scape goat to cover up their lack of security.
I hope he gets off lightly. tbh I think he's messed up in the head.

The closest is the guy who wrote SMEG. not a hacker though a virus writer.
