gonna do Carrauntoohil soon, and just looking at where to stay.

never been to Kerry. heard plenty good about Dingle and was leaning towards there, but Killarney is much nearer. Kenmare's an option too.
How do these three compare in terms of pubs/nightlife?

is the drive from Dingle to Carrauntoohil way longer than from Killarney?
if so, is the nightlife sufficiently better than the others to make the drive worthwhile?

any further info on best holiday home rentals would also be greatly appreciated.

    thanks.

Dingle is about an hour from Carrauntoohil, Killarney is about 15 mins, Kenmare is about 30 -40 mins

The nightlife in all 3 is good but i'd recommed Killarney cos you have better choice of accomadation and you are only 15 mins from Carrauntoohil

Was in Kenmare for new years! Place was a good laugh. If you do stay here, go to the italian restaurant! unbelievable calzone in there!

Dingle is grand but its like the locals are zombies! As in they are stuck in some kind of timewarp haha
