I'm wondering about this too but after looking more closely i noticed that

the hooded women is wearing different clothes to Kate.
Could it be the mother of Sawyer's child? Or maybe it could be Claire or Penny?

Probably means nothing, but no sign of Faraday in the trailer. I wonder if that means he doesn't rejoin with Sawyer/Juliet's group (yet at least) and he'll have a separate story arc for a while?

Sawyer seems shocked when the woman under the hood is revealed - who could shock him like that - a younger version of someone they know from their future, perhaps? who has light brown hair...

-Claire
-Penny
-Ellie Hawking
-Cassidy(that's the mother of sawyer's kid right? Not sure if I remembered the name correctly)

I don't think it's anyone under the hood. Probably some Dharma chick or something. ABC's marketing department making something out of nothing as usual.

We've had two big mythological episodes in a row. If you look back at previous seasons you'll find big episodes like that are always succeeded or preceded by a love-triangle-driven episode.

Must be scenes from 5x09. ABC have done that a few times this season.
