What exactly would be the result of me going into my mocks and leaving after half an hour without writing anything?

Other than the obvious one of failing the exam

The result would be you missing some world class rugby on the box!

If you go in and are going to waste 30 mins of your saturday (it is a waste lets be honest) then at least use that time to make a stab at something. I hadnt a breeze in law last year, stayed for 30 mins, wrote 1 and a quarter pages and got 25%

That is what i'm thinking. I have tickets for the match soits going to be a quick in and out. I might just study for and try one section so i'm not entirely wasting my time. My real question is whether the institute follow up with your firm and mentor or not?

Ha, dont bother. I was saying the same thing as you last year, and then got peer pressured into going to the pub after work the day before the mocks and got absolutely wasted!

My advice is go in without doing any study and see what you result you can get after doing ZERO work. It will give you a bit of an idea of how much or little you know about each subject!

Nah, if you show up and get 0% then they wont follow up on it. The partners and managers dont care as long as you show up for them i think! They are utterly pointless to be honest!

    I would say it depends.

All my intake were already called into a meeting and warned about "insufficient effort" etc in the mocks....

Like yourself,I've a ticket for the game so torn.

Yeah your mentors do see the results but mine said to me last yr that they failed every one of their mocks and they couldn.t believe that people actually pass them me incl, so no don't think they really care

I'm sorry but you must get your priorities right here!

If you go to the match you can contribute to the atmosphere which can help the team beat England. By being there you are making a positive contribution.

If you stay the full 3 hours to do your mocks and suppose you pass, well it doesnt matter as you are going to have to pass them again 3 months later. Whats the point in passing them twice! Just pass them in June. You dont want to peak too soon do ya!

Long story short, go to the mocks, leave after half an hour and go to the match! You'd be mad not to!!:D
