Does anyone else have a problem with the above? Mine crashes every other day at least.

Mine crashed yesterday and a couple of times last week. Had the firefox page as my homepage. Changed it to plain old google and it seems to be fine now. I don't even know why that would make a difference.

Sure, go to Tools in the top menu and choose Add-ons
    firefox-add-ons.jpg
Click uninstall on everyone (you may want to write them down so you can install again later).

Alternateively you can uninstall Firefox altogether (NB - will remove all addons and personal info/passwords you may have on it).

Then go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ and install version 3.
Use 3 a few days. If that works start adding the add-ons one by one with a days interval. This way you'll know which one causes issues.

    Good luck

Happened to me a few times too, recently.

last week or so, i reformatted my PC. Wasn't having the problem before that. Bit odd. How do you know which verison you're using? I assumed it'd say it in the properties info, but no luck.
