    Hi All,

On my macbook pro I had my single hard rive separated into two separate devices, i.e. Untitled 1 and Untitled 2...I want to get it back to just one hard drive...How do I go about this?

I had bootcamp installed, it was on Untitled 2, this was erased...now looking at the various support forums it says use the Bootcamp assistant to restore to one....however when I go to this I get the following:

'The startup disk must be formatted as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume or already partitioned by Boot Camp Assistant for installing Windows.'

It is partitioned but as this partition had been erased it is blank and formated as Journal....but I can't get anywhere, any ideas?

    Thanks

maybe delete the users account and archive the users home folders, to create Users.dmg filein the User/Deleted dir. move this Users.dmg to a externala drive with enouh space to hold it.
format the drive, reinstall MAc OS x and Users.dmg file to recreate the user on the newly formated mac....
google how to do this, it is quite simple
