"1 video file exceeds the playback capability of the player. click convert to convert and transfer the files"

Player likes avi, but hates mpg files.

Do I have to use alltoavi to get it to work?

What does it mean, the error, that is?

    Thanks,

    Kevin

The error means it won't play the file.

There are a plethora of video formats out there, and most portable media players are very picky as to what they will/won't play. They usually have strict limitations in terms of resolution, codec, container, bit-rate, etc.

If a file wont play, you'll need to convert it to a format that it will (using software, perhaps some came with it?).
