I'm looking to get a cheap (under €30) car radio with AUX IN somewhere in Galway City tomorrow. It can be the most basic radio, all I need is the Aux In.

    Or alternatively something like this

Any suggestions where I might be lucky enough to get these for cheap cheap cheap?

    "Blaupunkt Car 300". Opel Astra

Just a bog standard thing that came with the car. It had a tape deck inside and I was using a cassette adapter for a while to hook up my MP3 player but I was getting a lot of interference and hissing.

So I ripped out the tape deck, took the important bits and pieces from both the deck and adapter, and wired it all up in such a way that the "connection" was being made outside of the radio internals, which reduced the hissing and was fine.

But I yanked on the wire a few days ago ripping a few wires out and couldn't be arsed redoing it all.

you may need to get a harness adaptor to make a non Opel radio work. maybe try and find another Opel cassette unit second hand somewhere
