    Anyone know roughly when the 3rd instalment of the vec grants should be coming in? Start of March?

    would be interested to know this also. what time did the third one come out last year. prob be a forthnight before that this year seeing as we were back earlier.

    no not for honours degree students its one every 3months or so, kinda varies.

    Was in the waterford grant office today and the lady said third instalment will be mid april.

    was there myself and seen that the kilkenny and tipperary ones are in.not sure weather they are the county council ones or vec just that they were in.it's sellotaped to the window of reception.

    I think most are... Lim and Laois are def as my two housemates were bragging about it the other day.. South Tipp VEC isn't :mad:

    Could really do wit it this month an all!!!

    Was in wit today trying to get my grant but apparently its not in there. Yet my sister whos in college in cork got hers last thursday.Typical. Whats the point in giving the grant after easter when the term is nearly over and a lot of students would have needed it earlier to pay for accomodation bills food etc. Just don't understand how these peoples minds work at all to be honest!

    It seems to be case I'm afraid. In Sligo IT myself and am expecting the third installment after our Easter break. Next week more than likely. A pal from the course got his third payment before the break, although his circumstances were different and he really needed the dosh.

    Waterford grants are in! Happy days! Now just have to wait another week for it to clear! :(
