The world is your oyster tbh.

The Emirates stadium is on the Victoria and the Piccadilly lines, bith of which go through the west end, so you can stay in central London and get out to the ground fairly quickly from there, yet be in the middle of things on the assumption you will be out on the rip one evening..

Ryanair usually do their cheapest rates into Stansted, the train from there takes you to Liverpool street, so if you stay around somewhere like Holborn you can get to both places easily.

Look at www.tfl.gov.uk for a tube map and look for places in central London but easy to get to Arsenal (Picadilly Line) or Finsbury Park (Victoria Line)

This topic has been discussed ad nauseam.

All depends on how much you are willing to pay for your flight.
Cheapest will most prob be Ryanair to Stansted, most expensive into Heathrow or City but you could be lucky. Factor in extra time/costs to get to Luton/ Stansted /Gatwick.

Also depends where you choose your hotel, for the Emirates would suggest somewhere near angel tube station.

Would give Finsbury Park a miss, Arsenal tube is the best station to go to and nearest to the ground, Piccadilly Line.

Personally I would stay in the South Kensington area, 18 mins by tube to Arsenal. Heathrow is also 40 mins direct by tube from the South Ken area. South Ken area has some great restaurants andd you are also close to mai shopping areas.

Where to fly into? really depends on yourself, just be aware Ryanair is not always the cheapest. I would check out flybmi.com bmi fly into Heathrow.

    always my preferred option tbh.

Maybe there should be a "Visiting London" stickie along with the New York one?
