Over the past 13 years i have cursed about golf, sworn that I would pack it in, even got bored with it. Played today for the first time since august and boy have i the bug back:D Nearly sold the clubs before the xmas.

What is it about golf that brings me(us) back?

That's it in a nutshell... ever had a disastrous round then played 18 perfectly and therefore walked off with a big smile on your face?? :)

    Yeah, me too ;)

I'm afraid with me one good shot is never enough. At the moment i'm hitting the ball better then I ever have, haven't been as enthusiastic about the game since i was a kid. Been working hard on the game tho.

I always enjoy the 19th hole , either drowning my sorrows or trying to improve on my next game, find that 10 pints will make me feel as I can tee off like tiger woods, well at least on the playstation anyhow, lol

    Giving up golf is easy.
I do it every 2-3 weeks.
Storm off the 18th green, throw my useless clubs in the boot, curse the day I ever heard of golf, and then leap in my car never to return...

About 10 minutes later I'm ringing the clubhouse to book my next tee-time; only *this* time I'm going to get it right!
