Rotary Muck Spreader Q.

I'm comparing a Conor & Abbey rotary spreader - capacity of both is 6 Cub Yards, it seems strange but the spec sheets state the Conor requires 70 HP V's 45 HP to drive the Abbey.
Anyone got first hand experience of these types to confirm the drive required.

the two machine may be geared diffrently.
ie. the one which requires more horse power may spread the dung quicker / further.

45HP sounds very low for a muck spreadder of that size though.

    Depends on the gearing...

45 Hp might drive it but I couldn`t see it pulling it too far ....
