    Has anyone actuallly installed another OS on the PS3? If so, which one have you installed? Am thinking of DL yellow dog and giving it a bash, anybody use it? Or had any problems with it? Any comments appreciated.

    ya i did ydl, its crap
    hardly worth your while tbh
    i couldnt get wireless to work either
    maybe they have an updated distro since :confused:

    i tried ubuntu 3 times. got it installed ok but a lot of it wouldsnt work right!!! also i had the same problem as bobby and couldnt get wireless workin. keep meanin to try ydl but just dont have the time!!

    be nice to have ubuntu working but YD 6 was specifically designed with ps3 in mind, Ive heard fedora works also ?

    Im working just now but might try yd6 when i get home. I will let you know how i get on if i do.
