Anyone know of any walking groups in the Clare/Limerick area? Looking for something to at weekends that will get me out into the fresh air.

    Cheers,
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

There are a few groups listed on the MCI (Mountaineering Council of Ireland) website. Most of the groups do light hillwalking and will most likley have insurance too.

There's a walking club that leaves from Na Piarsaigh CLG in Caherdavin on Saturday mornings. I think they just follow the footpath though, no hill-walking or whatever, so it might not be exactly what you're looking for.
