    Episode Synopsis:
The team encounters a teenage boy with genetic mosaicism, or both male and female DNA, who collapsed from severe pelvic pain after playing basketball. The boy is unaware of this however and when his condition worsens and his life is threatened, the parents wonder whether they made the right decision. Meanwhile, Cuddy and Wilson suspect something is wrong with House when he starts acting way too nicely. When they discover the shocking answer, they must face the prospect that House may be changed forever.

I really enjoyed this episode and it answered one of my gripes from last week
where House didnt spot Foreman and 13's fake breakup
    .

Loved the bit between Wilson and Cuddy :D
After Wilson accuses Cuddy of having sex with House
Wilson: He's in a good mood
Cuddy: Sex with me would explain that ... but it doesn't explain why I'm not curled up in a ball weeping in shame

Not a bad episode, but the ending was a bit ridiculous. If House had kept taking what he was taking it could have moved the show in a new direction. Instead he's back to his same old self. e.gif Was looking forward to a series change before it's formula loses it's appeal.

i actually found it abit dull :Dnothing really fresh since house has played the no pain = happy me card --->get back his old miserable self in the end again.how many times of a case like this happened??

could be i was on my phone and watching it on the same time tho :pac:

p/s:and about methadone.....it always sounds to me that methadone is a way safer drug than heroin/morphine since, patients who addicted to opioids are actually best to take methadone due to it prevents withdrawal syndromes?less dosage needed per day?and obviously methdone has a similar set of side effects as others opioids.....hmmmm...if that's the case wilson shouting about the double the side effect of heroin would be meaningless...

/take down note and ask lecturer next time

That is the whole show basically. If house turn's into some nice guy that is the beginning of the end. Why change the formula that has people still gripped 5 season's later? Also a house season where house cant diagnose ****...no thanks.

I dunno each season need that little arc element that changes the formula slightly (or in a few cases alot) for a few episodes and then resetting. Doing it all within 1 episode is very similar to the whole Cameron in charge episode a few weeks back. It was a really good idea that they simply did not run with.

House's best moments have been the stories that overlap numerous episodes. Trittor in season 3, Stacy at the end of season 1 and first chunk of season 2, the games of season 4, Wilson leaving at the start of season 5.

At the moment the current arc is Cuddy's baby (not great, but not terrible) and the whole Foreteen thing (which is f*cking awful stuff, this weeks episode is probably the least painful one so far thankfully.)

A short arc with House on methodone would have been nice, it could have been only 2-3 episodes but there was potential (much like there was potential with Cameron being in charge) Could have had an episode where he is paranoid about his ability to perform when he's happy and he 2nd guessess his every decision and so on.

It did feel like a story that needed to be fleshed out a bit.

Why is Kutner still bizarrely the most likeable of his assisstants though we have almost no stories actually focused on him?

Actually now that I think about it a short few episodes on it would have been good all right and they were half way there to curing the boy without House when 13/Foreman realised at the end they were treating the wrong disease. They could even have stretched the boys case to another episode to really play off the fact that House is just not able to function as a diagnostician which would have made one of the others finally finding the simple cure really stand out and show how much House ****ed up

Probably because we don't know enough about him to dislike him :p

I thought it was a good episode but not spectacular episodes. I think the whole metadone story line is pointless unless they keep it up for a few more episodes.
