No Reciept of Points

Hey All,
A while ago I got 4 points for a double offence (undertaking and speeding). I paid both in the post office, and got a receipt of payment. The two payments of €80 came off my credit card. Around a week later I got notification that 2 points had been applied for one offence. I still havent received the notification for the 2nd set of points. This was around 6 weeks ago. Shoud I be concerned?

The two offences were undertaking (left lane on a motorway, leaving the exit, but passed other cars staying in the right lane) and this is the one I have received notification of points for. The second offence is the one that I havent received anything so far. I passed at an excessive speed. I got my letter stating this and 2 points, paid, but have not received notification. Could have now "upped" the charge? They have already applied the charge of 2 points (but no notifciation of application), so not sure if they can?

Brother got done for speeding near 5 months ago and never got any letter or anything in the post. Strange goings on.

Is the the notification of the offence or the points? I got the letter for the points and paid it, but havent heard anything about them being applied!?

I picked up 2 pts for speeding on a date in July 2007. Paid within a couple of days. Did not get a receipt until early the following November which informed me that the effective date of the penalty was 7th November. Seems they will get on to you sooner or later

I've not received confirmation of points for an offence (speeding) from March 08 yet, paid up and everything. That it appears theres an incorrect posted speed limit on the road and I should be back to 0 points in a wee bit makes it fairly irrelevant but they seem to sometimes take FOREVER to send out the notices.

He didn't get any letters. Don't know the proceedure, so this is out of my dept!! lol

I got done in july 06 and never receive the points till nov 06 also, but cant remember the date to be exact. anyone know were i can find out when they disappear from my licence?

Sorry, I should say that the offences took place last October!
