    Hi,

I've got 5 mates coming over from the UK in a couple of weeks and I'm looking for somewhere to take them out clay shooting for a few hours.

I did find a coach associated with the Castletroy Park Hotel who provided sessions (possibly from Adare), but his contact details dropped from the website when the hotel went into administration :(

    Anyone got any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Hi mate

The fella's name is Eddie Daly and he is an absolute star mate.

He is such a good bloke, and in my opinion he is the best instructor in the country

I will pm you his details tomorrow I don't have his number with me.

He tought me how to shoot clays so I know he knows what he is doing!

    NUTTA1,

Thanks a lot - I'd really appreciate it if you could forward me Eddie's number. Sounds like we should have a great day if your recommendation is anything to go by!

    Cheers

Grizzly - I live about a mile from Doonass, so it would be perfect!

Slight problem - I couldn't get your link to work and couldn't find anything when I tried to Google it. Do you have a working link or any other contact details? Thanks

It's top of the Google search list if I select search pages from 'the web', but doesn't even feature when I select 'pages from Ireland'. Think they might benefit from a .ie address!

    Thanks to all who replied.

Did our clay shoot last Friday at Doonass Clay Pigeon Club and can highly recommend it.

Was really looked after out there by Barry - he even laid on a trophy for the best shooter of the day!

Excellent variety of targets, relaxed and safe, even for 6 idiots who've never really shot before!! :D
