    Hi Does anyone know if there is industrial action planned for Irish Rail/DART on Saturday.

    Dublin Bus is on strike and i'm planning to get to Croker for the rugggaby :)

    As far as I know, the industrial action is for the buses only. There has been no talk of job losses/cutbacks on the railways.

    there is definetly no strike action by irish rail all services are running as normal with a few extra trains for the rugby.expect the trains to be busy though

    as it stands now dublin bus drivers will be on strike on the 28th. theres a meeting planned for tomorrow with the L.R.C. it all depends on the out come of that meeting whether we are on strike or whether it'll be called of/ postponed. i'm unsure about bus eireann . i've heard a few stories about the legalaties of the strike notice served on them.
