I used the Chad Smith snare in a mix today and it was superb!
I opened the multi sampled wav in peak and cut it into snare 1,2,3,4 and used aptrigga to fire them randomly. Best snare samples I have used.

Apologies for resurrecting an older thread, but I've been playing around with these samples today. They really are feckin' super – a great find Michael.

I’ve saved the lot onto my hard drive. My question is this – what’s the best way to store/use these samples? I’m looking to augment my existing live kit with samples (where necessary). I have Massey DTM & (thanks to DenisWoods) previously managed to figure out how to trigger samples from Structure free (and as a result any other VI too).

Now that I have all these great drum samples, how do I go about getting them triggered – do I need to create my own patches in something like Structure & then proceed as if it was any normal Structure patch? I’m running PT LE 8

Glad to see you got it all working. Go here

and look at the Structure sampling tutorials. Not as difficult as you think.
