Anyone bought this. Reviews seem to be mostly positive except from graphics pro's who can't stand the glass or thos upset about it only working with the new macbooks so far.

Myself, am just wondering about ghosting on this screen as it has a fairly high 14ms response time. Also does anyone know if it's an IPS or PVA panel ?

I'm sure its fine if you can get around its ridiculous price tag.

And the fact it has zero connectivity other than displayport, plus no osd controls (done through software). Really narrows it down to be used on the new macbooks/pro's only. Still, would be interested in hearing from anyone who has bought it and what their opinions are. It's supposed to have decent sound, icamera, and work very well with the macbook and be excellent for video playback and general desktop use. However having said that, so far the reviews on youtube have been initital impressions and not very technical. Some talk of backlight bleed from a fair few posters on the mac forums and also from cnet. I guess the price is offputting, but then again for an IPS panel (though it's not known 100% yet) with 178 degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles, LED technology, decent speakers, icamera, and charging for your macbook built it, it's not as bad price wise as I thought. The 16ms response time might be a show stopper though for gamers.
