Did they go ahead with the Car Tax? Would have been a goldmine today!

It's a good idea, they were planning on charging 2 euro for every car, brilliant idea to do it on a rainy day :P more money.sure one day a year couldnt hurt to do it.

The car tax didnt run all day anyway. I was in at 11 and there was no sign of anybody. Left a few times and still no sign of any collection.

I believe it was done first thing this morning. Though id imagine most outdoor activites flopped due to the weather!
