zip file may contain virus

ok,, i downloaded a zip file.. didnt unzip it. IF the zip contained a virus, could it be spread to my comp if i didnt unzip?

No, if you have the zip file and havn't opened any of the contents in it you are fine, if your worried about the contents of it just delete it immediately...

i downloaded it,,, wasnt concerned about it.. i still am not,,

but my friend thinks that when i downloaded it onto her computer it did something to it.,.

you could get you antivirus to scan it
