Anyone have any tips for trying to sell armies? I want to sell some space marines and some dark eldar but I'm having no luck. I would have thought that during a recession the opportunity to get an army for under €100 would be a good one? Am I living in a happy fantasy world? (well I am.. but that's warhammer for you...!)…

Aside from fleabay which I've never had much luck selling on anyone got tips/ideas?

Despite the name you can sell, not just trade.

I've done no sales there, but I've done a couple of trades that went well.

My apoligies to photoxin for bringing my idioticy in the day i wrote that reply. I just saw 'army for sale' in my head and went oooh, I want!
Fair play to Lemming for spotting it too, at least we know this board is manned by people who actually care about those who use it.

Bartertown again comes through! I'm trading some Legion of Everblight models for some Infinity ones

Much better than selling the legion models at a loss, and then buying the infinity ones at full price.

Admittedly I don't have the models yet, and it's on a trust basis, but when you're dealing with someone on bartertown with a good track record it's pretty safe.
