Enter your BIOS and change the boot sequence so that the floppy drive comes before the CD/DVD drive.

Sorry, i should have been clearer there. the bootable disk is a CD-Rom, so i can wipe that drive. I had checked the BIOS and the sequence was already in the right order though.

I have set the BIOS back to defaults now as well, but still getting the same message. I really dont think its the disk

What did you use to burn the disc image?

Tried a few .... ImgBurn, Sonic, Active ISO Burner and Nero, Nero has a boot disk option as well.

Would you recommend anything else to make one?

I'm wondering if it's mangled the boot support on the disc, as best I can tell from a quick look is that the disc loads a floppy image as it's method of booting an environment.

Nah, worst case you've got a corrupt image and will need to download it again, more likely burn it again. I'll get a copy of the image a burn it myself later when I'm home and have a look.

I burnt it using CDBurnerXP (free from cdburnerxp.se) and it works fine. It goes straight to a blue screen where it prompts for kernel/load options.

So you burnt the Windows files with its 'bootable options' i'm guessing.

I just used the same defaults as shown in the screenshot on the right side of the page linked.
