    They all sucked.

Kids should be made wait at least 5 minutes to load a video game, then we'd see how many cases of ADHD we'd have nowadays.

1984, it's a book and, more importantly, an awesome album by Van Halen.

I have quite fond memories of 1989.

There should be a banning order on the 1980s. Apart from the music (or some of the music up to about 1984).

In terms of music (for me anyway) it pretty much went down hill after 1986.

My nanny died in 1981, very sad for me. Hated first few years of secondary. My last year '87 was a good one. Lovely summer, exams went well. Remember Whitney Houston's 'I wanna dance with somebody and Crowded house's 'Don't dream it's over' playing around that time. My son was born in '89, a special time for me and another beautiful Summer. Madonna's 'Like a prayer' and Black Box's 'Ride on time' were out that year.

Best year for me personally was 1984. So many great tunes and memories. Worst year was probaby 1986 because of Tchernobyl

Can't pick a bad year. The whole decade was gravy for me.
