UPC not working on all TV points in the house - any ideas?

Hi,

I recently got UPC digital TV, broadband and phone in the house.
Everything is fine apart from the fact that I tried to plug the UPC box into the telly points upstairs and it's not picking up any channels.

Neither are there any coming in direct to the telly, which is happening in the kitchen, where I'm getting all the standard channels without a box.

I asked the dude who was installing it at the time and he said it'd work on all points in the house, but it doesn't work upstairs.

Anybody any ideas or suggestions??
