Chorus broadband problem??

we have chorus broadband in our house but last week my idiot housemate spilled beer on the modem rendering it useless. thankfully another housemate was able to get an identical one to replace it. however when we try to log onto the internet and we're asked for SID username and password. do we need to ring chorus??? don't…

You cant just use any modem with chorus. You will have to ring them and get them to install a new one...

Yes but your chorus broadband is more than likely tied to the mac address of your modem. Different modem = different mac address = no internet [I think].

Ring Chorus.
