Standing Order from Irish to UK Account

    does anyone know if AIB offer such a service? i wish to transfer money every month to GF's account in the UK. if not AIB what options are available.

    AFAIK none of the banks can set up standing orders to overseas accounts. If AIB's online banking lets you make transfers abroad, you could register her as a beneficiary and do the transfer online on a monthly basis.

    As the other poster mention, you can do it as an international transfer on AIB online, but it would be cosly, since it is outside the euro zone.

    Western Union might be cheaper...
