waiting for cheque

    hi everyone
    i have a question
    few weeks ago i sign in for job seeker benefit while i started getin only 2 days per week in my work (i was full time before)
    after a week i got letter which said im entitled to JB benefit and my first payment will be issued by cheque on 20/02 (last friday) and every friday after that.
    they said i will recaive it by post to my apartment but i didnt get nothing since friday.... should i call them and ask or is it normal to wait longer as they said? will my cheque will be delay every week then???
    please anyone for advise because last week and this week i dont have any hours at all and i need any money to pay my rent and bills

    you should ring or call to your local office to find out why you didn't get payment. if you really stuck for money then go the your comunity welfare officer in the health board to help you out til your dole is sorted.
