Lads i have been asked the question if there is an upper age limit for the inter's. Is it just the standard 34. Basically a lad in work boxed in the states never won any titles or anything he is 29 very fit and is trying to decide between MMA and boxing and wants to fight competitivly this year in either.........i can for the life of me remember if there is and age limit for the inters

Yep, tell him to give it a lash, either way he'll need a club to represent so get him down to his local club asap..

The standard is high over here so he might be suprised when he competes..

cheers lads going to give him some contact details of the clubs in the tallaght area as he is living close to that area. He knows the standard here is good. I reckon he just want to know if a club thinks he good enough to enter that there is nothing stopping him age wise

Here here..........Golden Cobra is an excellent club.............they have some crazy record that they have had an all ireland champion every year since 1989 or something. Very good club. Young Charlie Haggerty is someone to watch for the future.

How is it determined who is eligible for inters and who fights in the seniors / elite?
