    Hey all
Getting a laptop for my GF in May for her birthday and spotted this on Dabs.Dell U587F

It looks perfect big screen, dual core and 2 gigs of Ram but there is zero information on the web about it.

Google come s back empty and the DELL website is of no use either.

Anyone have any experiance with this type of Dell?

If looked at netbooks but I think something with a bigger screen would suit best.

Id say give them a call or a mail and ask for clarification. Its a refurb too, but the price is definitely good. Are you sure a 17" machine would suit? They're far from "portable".

It looks like one of the XPS studio 16 models..looks like Dabs posted the chassis P/N instead of the model number.

No, with those specs it's not a Studio XPS.

From the specs it could be a regular Studio 17 model, they are/were avail with that config. And the picture is of a Studio. So that's most likely what it is; but I would confirm first.

It's certainly a good price if that's the case.

Noticed this myself. How is it so cheap? are they leaving the graphics card out?

    As Al has pointed out.
Please note this is a Dell Refurb unit and comes with a 3 Month Warranty
