So Matt Hardy has turned on his brother Jeff in the most recent of numerous Wrestling betrayls from Stone Cold Steve Austin "Shaking hands with the devil" at WM17 to Shawn throwing Marty throw the babarshop window back in 92, what ones do you remember? what ones stood out for you? and what do you thing was the best ever pulled off?

One that really stood out for me was actually a fairly poor one and I also can't remember it that well. It was when HBK came back to the WWE to supposedly join D-X and he joined the Corpo. The when he decided he would join D-X, they sold him out to dry. Not so much of a good betrayal but it was a great tease because most people wanted a DX with him as opposed to without

Paul Bearer turning on Undertaker with Paul hitting Undertaker with the urn. I remember the referee at the time (vs Mankind) begging Bearer not to do it. ;_; Just one that I remember well.

Hogan turning his back on the nWo at Wrestlemania was pretty memorable if that counts because he was playing a heel right up to his pre match promo and the match was enough to turn him against his "brothers"

Also Triple H rushing to the aid of Michaels when he had his head smashed through the car window only for it to emerge that hhh had done it, it lead to a brilliant match and if I'm not mistaken it later had a great moment with Shawn standing up from a wheelchair in WWF New York, I think that was after Triple H hit him with the sledgehammer following the unsanctioned match but I could be wrong, those moments are just linked in my head somehow

Actually one of the best I've ever seen was Evolution on Randy Orton. That was ****ing fantastic

Shawn Michaels on Hulk Hogan back in 2005 (?) was probably the most shocking. I honestly didn't see that one coming, completely out of the blue.

Mighty Molly cracking the Hurricane over the head with a frying pan to win the Hardcore Title at Wrestlemania :p

Billy turning on Bart Gunn because he was jealous of him by getting less fan mail. lol

Stephanie turning on Vince to join forces with Triple H.

Vince turning on The Rock at WrestleMania 2000.

Best ever pulled off was Austin shaking Vince's hand, that completely shocked me at the time. Never saw it coming.

Andre turning on Hogan, propbably because it wsa the first one I ever saw. The whole Dream team/Piper/Adrian Adonis one was quiet good, too.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I think all of my favourite's have been posted. The best one has to be the Austin turning on the Rock at WM 17 , HHH hitting the pedigree on Micheals back in 2002 . Also i actually was shocked when Trish turned on Y2J at WM20

What so memorable about that one for me was that they showed it on Superstars (Or whatever the Saturday morning show was called at the time) and little eight year old me got see my favourite wrestler at the time get thrown through a glass window!

My friend who was a big Michaels fan called in to me straight after it and we were both shocked.

    Excellent stuff.

Also have fond memories of this feud as I always preferred Macho to Hogan.

It was Wrestling Challenge, at the time that took place (January 1992, Challenge was shown on Sky One on Friday night, repeated on Saturday morning, and then Superstars was Saturday night repeated on Sunday morning).

You can always tell with the commentators, Vince and Jesse did Superstars until August 90 when Piper took over (and then Hennig, then Lawler), while Monsoon & Heenan did Challenge.

About time SOMEONE recognised this. This was the ultimate in betrayal as it wasn't an actual betrayal! Savage was the one in the right in that entire storyline. He was the champion but Hogan hogged the spotlight, and then went after his Valet. Savage had enough and had that storyline been played out ten years later, Hogan's ass would have been booed to kingdom come. :)

I saw Trish turning on Jericho a mile off, lol.

How come no-one has posted the ultimate of all time...........
Tugboat shafting the Bushwhackers and joining Earthquake:eek::eek::eek::p
Ah no but, all the one's you'se have up were pretty cool, my favourite's being HHH & HBK in 2002, Austin and McMahon at WM17 and Michaels and Jannetty on the barber shop.
Actually, if memory serves, did'nt Shawn pull Sherri into the way of an incoming mirror shot from Jannetty later that year? The louser.

Jesus to think of all the matches we would have missed for the last 7 years if Shawn hadn't of come back, classics against Jericho,HHH, Angle, Flair and countless others

Lucky the test on his back in his match with HHH worked out and he has been performing to a very high standard since, Shawn did his bad things but it wouldnt have been the same without him

He's involved in 90% of betrayals too

Hogan joining the NWO was pretty intense at the time.

This is actually the best of the lot. It was pretty much totally out of the blue, and Hogan did not just betray Sting & Savage, he betrayed all the Hulkamaniacs all over the world. He betrayed everything he ever stood for. He became a whiney little heel which was the antithesis of what he has been for years before hand.

Paul Bearer turning on the Undertaker and Vince revealing himself as the Higher Power of the Ministry. Both provoked very angry reactions from my young self.:D:pac:

Was just about to say that. I remember Stephanie was about to get sacrificed and SCSA legged it down to save her, started giving stunners to everyone. Mideon in particular done some ridiculously high flip after receiving one :D

The upshot of that being Stephanie's turn on her dad months later for said sacrifice.

Ah yes, back in the days when there was consistency in Pro Wrestling. :)
