    no, not man on fire.

Just an incredibly well made documentary about Philippe Petit, who walked on a high wire between the 2 towers of the WTC in the 70's, as well as many other places around the world.

    I highly recommend this movie.

    Totally agree.

I saw this last week and loved it, I'd recommend it to anyone. It's up for an Oscar tonight, I'd love to see it win.

I seen it about a month ago. It's good alright. But I found it kinda dragged in the middle, like they where just padding it out. It would of worked better as a straight to TV 45min documentary imo.

It did, and Hugh Jackman didn't have to point out to James Marsh that his shirt wasn't tucked in, which is what Ross had to do, went he went up to pick up his BAFTA.

Kind of agree with you. The strongest part of the story was the event itself, and there was a bit of repetitive back story attatched to it. Phillipe was a very strong presence, and think he held it together, as well as the tension in recollections of moments such as the security guard incident or the hilarious (but also somewhat sad for everyone but Phillipe) aftermath. Was a very enjoyable documentary on the whole,

    "Impossible, impossible, impossible..."

My favourite film of last year. Inspired use of Michael Nyman music too.

My number two of 2008. TDK wasn't even in my top 20 I don't think.

Amazing documentary. Some real goosebump moments towards the end.
