Myself and my good lady wife are trying to think of somewhere to go on a short bread in march, thur-sun
We can't think where we'd like to go
Anyone any recommendations, thought about staying in ireland but if there's a must go spot not too far away, she's just off a month of nights then so long travel won't go down too well?

    TA

FYI recent trips int the past year or two have been rome, bracalona, london, kinsale, dromoland, edinburgh just to help avoid "been there" replies

    What about Paris?

    Not too far away

    Great sightseeing

    Great shopping

Yummy food (and cheaper than you might think)

    Very romantic!

Reasonabley priced - well, the hotels aren't cheap, but the attractions are cheap and you could spend days and days just wandering the streets taking in the sights.

Very relaxing - you can do as much or as little as you want.

    Paris FTW!

Amsterdam is great fun, with a load of stuff to do from the historical stuff (Anne Frank, etc.) to the more tradition 'Amsterdam' stuff. We did pop into one or 2 sex museums while we were there. Not as grubby as you might expect, actually some of it was quite cerebral (ok, that's what we told ourselves!!!)

It's not a long flight, it's fairly cheap, and there's stuff to do.

I'd also stick another vote in for Berlin, it's amazing, so much to see and experience.
