Hey folks, I had a look online but local knowledge is better than Dublin Bus.

Gotta get from (probably) O Connell street to Charlemont Place (Hilton hotel) by our good friends Dublin bus quite early on a Saturday. Walking would be an option provided it isnt raining.

48a will do it according to DB website?

Anyone with local knowledge tell me any better and the standard price for DB? Thanks.

Or get a 46a/145/11/11a-b to Leeson st and walk down to the next bridge. (5 mins)

Next Saturday 28/02/09 the NBRU have planned a day of protest in support of the 160 drivers who are being let go from Dublin Bus, so walking will probably be your only option !

    Sorry if you are inconvenienced.

Tis the Saturday after, which is a relief :D Tho if the allout strike goes on, walking would definately be an option!

You could also take the green line Luas from Stephen's Green. It's two stops on this line from Stephen's Green, and the tram stops right outside the hotel on the bridge.

You could walk east to Connolly Station or south to Burgh Quay and get the 128 to Adelaide Road. The Hilton is right beside there but I'm not sure there's a back entrance so you might need to walk around it to get in. The times for a Saturday morning are 0630, 0645, 0700, 0720, 0740, 0800, 0820 and 0840 and it'll take about 25 minutes to get from there to the city centre.
