Standing with your guitar, three chords and a few beers, what do you play?

Personally some David Gray (sadly I know most of his stuff), followed by In My Place, finishing with a rousing version of Brown Eyed Girl.

Indeed, an eclectic mix! If I can add one more chord, Creep is always fun, at a certain stage of the night, with a certain age group.

For PF, I think there's a "C" in there somewhere!
Anyway, thought of another one, they don't come as quickly when sober.
Moondance, Gm7 to Am7 (Bar chord 333353) , throughout the verse, Cm Dm Gm7 for chorus (4 chords in tot). All works great until "Can I just have one more moondance with you, myyyy love" bit of a progression I've never figured out.
Don't forget to give the chords, I'm trying them all out!

For PF 'Wish...' I would have (or do) go C, D, Am, G, D, C, Am. Then a bog standard G to Em for the booboodoodooodoo bit. But there you go.

    +1
A friend of mine always saves "Wish You Were Here" for his party-piece, there's definitely more than just 3 chords in it.

High and Dry by Radiohead is another simple one to play. There's only 3 chords if you don't count the intro which is pretty easy as well. Have no idea what the names of the chords are except that there is an E major in there.

Same chords for Rise by Gabrielle as Knockin On Heavens Door

Rehab by Rhianna is AM C G D [or F] depending on how you like the sound of it

    Bad Moon Rising - D A G D
Island in the Sun by Weezer - Em Am D G - bridge D,G C A G - i know its extra chords but main riff is good

Although I'm a drummer be trade, I thought myself to strum and bray out Richard Thompson's Keep Your Distance (a-f-e#), although the middle-eight solo is totally beyond my ability.
