We'd like to do a gig in the likes of Vicar street, looking for somewhere that has a "club" vibe (thinking of the tables in vicar street).

Anyone know how we would go ahead & how ticket sales are handled ?

Do we need someone to negotiate with vicar st on our behalf or can anyone just go in & hire it for a night ?

Also any ideas how much a venue like that would cost ?

I'd say it would be a lot. It also holds 900+ people. Would you get that many? And if you are in a position to get 900+ people you really should have someone who does your bookings. What about the Sugar Club?

Hadn't thought of the sugar club. We're looking to stage it in about four months time, to allow ticket sales etc (would love to do it before hand but slow burn etc).

I think vicar street is 1,200 seated which is what we're going for.

    What band are you in?

Not a band, more of an "entertainment consortium" :)

It's more of an "event" than a gig although music does play a huge part

Or try the Button Factory in temple bar , they usually put a few clubs on in there
