    Sugar Club - March 11th

    Hey everyone!

I'm trying to gather a bit of a crowd for my friend's gig.

It's her first event as a music management student and she gets graded on atmosphere and all the jazz, so I want to get as many people as possible to go. :D

It's on the 11th of March in The Sugar Club on lower Leeson street, Tucan are playing and the support act is Jack O'Leary, a rockschool music student.

Tickets are €10 at the door on the night.

It will be an excellent night especially for those of you who love live music.
Tucan are an acoustic band and they have been compared to Rodrigo y Gabriella. Their live music is upbeat and for more info on them you can look at Electric Picnic on you tube. They also have their own website and their music will be available in stores by march as they have a huge album launch coming up.

PM me if you would like any more info about the gig.
Hope some of you boardsies can make it, it really will be a great gig :)

Whoops forgot to say, Moses Morehouse is also playing, and there'll be loads and loads of free beer given out because one of Túcan's songs is featured in a beer ad and the company want to help promote the band.
    Think that's everything....

    Dude,
a little advertising advice - head your post up with FREE BEER!
Then list the rest of the info - that way you will get the maximum number of hits and thus - more bums on seats!
Also list on entertainment.ie/gumtree and stick a few posters up around the colleges.

On second thoughts, it's an acoustic gig - you run the risk of attracting a noisy lot who would only be interested in the beer and the music would be only incidental.......... but then if the bands are as good as you say, they should be able to get and keep their attention............your call!

    What beer company?

Ah sod it I don't care as long as it's not non-alcoholic.

How many free beers could one possibly expect at this gig? :D

Thanks mojoman! Dunno how to change title now though. *sigh* The beer is Sol, and there'll be LOADS of it so Anonoboy I'm sure if you're there early you'll get a few anyway :D She's giving me the posters for college on Saturday, and it's all over bebo etc. Will go onto entertainment.ie now, thanks hadn't thought of that.

Click "EDIT" button on the bottom of your original post - then "GO ADVANCED" and amend as required! Hit "Preview" to check and then "Submit" when yo' happy! Simple! You might have to fill in the "Reason for Edit" box to keep the gremlins happy but "improving" should do it! ;)
Hope it goes well for ya - Regret I will be in Galway that night or I would have looked ya up for a free beer! Keep her lit!
