Immobiliser/Key Fob Problem

I have a 00 Rover 25 and the immobiliser/key fob seems to be on the blink. I changed the battery but to no avail. My question is this: Is there anyway to get the car started without the use of the fob? It's obviously going to take a while to get a new fob ordered and delivered and the car was bought from a non rover dealership.
Cheers in advance for any help.

Yes, it is possible. There is a procedure to manually input a code. You might have the code in with the cars manuals or you may need to get it from the dealer.

When you get a new remote it will need to be coded.
