Wonder if someone could help me with this problem.

I have 2 cables coming from my satellite and going into my Sky+ box. Since i got the Sky + I now have a spare regular sky box.

Is there any way that I can 'split' one of the cables from the sat and divert it to my regular Sky box in another room?? Would this work.

    Thanks

You can't really split the cable, if you took one of the cables from the sky+ box you would lose the facility to record one and watch one at the same time or record 2.

Since you have sky+ installed you must have a quad lnb on your satellite dish. This means that you have two spare outputs on your satellite dish. Best option is to run a new cable from the sat dish to your other room.

    Ahh - that makes sense.

    Thanks for that.
