    Hi everybody,

I have a white van, that the paint is a bit fade and I would like to bring it a bit more shinny. Also there are some small spot of rust, so I would like to get rid off the rust, and they repaint the small part, and polish it all so the color will be more consistent.

I went to halford yesterday, and they are selling a car polisher for only €50.
But I'm wondering how it's working do we need to add a product? I have asked a guy but he didn't seem to know too :)

So do you know how it is working?

    Thanks a lot
    Superfly

Those polishers are a waste of money, all there good for is buffing off wax.

To get any sort of good finish you would need something like a meguiars g220 or a portercable 7424. Both of these are dual action orbital buffers and are fairly user friendly in that they are safer for newbies. You will also need compouds, finishing polish, wax and the correct foam pads for the machine.
