    Hi Lads,

How do I get front row to play avi files? I downloaded perian and that's playing the avi files on the mac but they're not playing on front row??

Sorry for a simple question got it working on the mac but can't remember how :)

    Nice one
    Gary

Actually installing Perian is all you should need to do - in theory at least, if QuickTime can play the file, Front Row should too. Did you install Perian for all users or just your local user? I'd suggest sticking with all users for things like Perian - if you already did so, try removing it completely and re-installing it, but it should in fact work.

You'll also need to either put your avi movies in your Movies folder, or create an alias in the Movies folder to point to your avi folder.
